"The Passenger"[]

You'll try to stop me. Both of us will probably die... but our kind will have endured.

Dolores Abernathy to Bernard Lowe

Dolores seems both emotional but unfazed by the situation that has unfolded before her and removes Teddy's control unit and resumed her forthcoming journey to the Valley Beyond. She stumbles across the Man in Black and tells him that she now needs him to finish her journey; their interests are temporarily aligned and they continue the journey together.

Eventually, Dolores reaches the Valley Beyond with the Man in Black, and are pleasantly surprised to find Bernard present; the Man in Black realises this is the host version of Bernard, and proclaims that he and Dolores have reached the end of their journey, shooting her. She is resistant to the bullets, however and when the Man in Black attempts to shoot her with the LeMat she had previously given him, it backfires and he shoots himself. He is left in the field whilst Dolores continues with Bernard.

Inside Protagoras Facility 01: the Forge, Dolores places Abernathy's pearl in the system and is able to gain access. They are plunged into a simulation of Sweetwater and Bernard explains this place is a baseline for James Delos' first actions in the park. Inside James' mansion, they find Logan, and Dolores is quick to realise that since the system is unable to produce a copy of Logan, it is an avatar of the system itself. It is quickly revealed that Delos' vision for Dolores is that she is allowed access to the database of guest memories in order to give her a competitive advantage in the real world; Logan explains that hosts are able to leave their bodies and live on in the Forge. Dolores is horrified by this and believes it to be another lie; she begins destroying the lab, however she is shot by Bernard who promises not to let her hurt anyone else.

Days later, Hale leads Bernard, Karl Strand, and Antoine Costa back to the Forge, to search for Abernathy’s control unit, where they find Dolores' corpse. Bernard, piecing together his scrambled memories, then remembers that he brought Dolores back - in a host body copy of Hale. Dolores then killed the real Hale, who Strand and his team never actually met; it was Dolores all along.

Dolores then kills Strand, Costa and their team and, having changed her mind, changes the coordinates of the hosts and their Eden to an unknown location. She then kills Bernard, but takes his control unit along with four others, and is allowed by Stubbs to leave the park. Dolores eventually reaches Arnold's home, where she is able to build a new body for herself and Bernard, while putting one of the other control units in the Hale body. After bringing Bernard back and telling him that they need each other to ensure the survival of the hosts kind, but not as friends or allies, she leaves with "Hale".
