"Phase Space"[]
In the Remote Diagnostic Facility, Bernard talks with Dolores, who wears her signature blue dress. He tells her that whilst he is not afraid of her this moment, he fears what she has the potential to become in the future; he believes he is left with a choice, either continue in fear, or shut her down. Dolores quickly reverses the situation and it becomes clear that the student has surpassed the master; she orders Bernard to freeze all motor functions.
In the park, Bernard and Elsie admire the work done, and it is clear that QA has already been to assess the situation created by Ford. They attempt to shut down the Cradle, as it is influencing every aspect of the parks, however Bernard remarks that the Cradle is simply a back-up for host consciousness and should not influence any other aspects of the park; nevertheless, Bernard tells her that the Cradle can only be accessed in person. Out of nowhere, Bernard finds himself on the Sweetwater train, and it becomes clear he is caught in a loop.
