Beyond Westworld is a short-lived television series that carried on the stories of the two feature films, Westworld and Futureworld. It aired on CBS in 1980 but only five episodes were produced, and only three of them were aired before cancellation.


John Moore, Security Chief of the Delos Corporation, has to stop the evil scientist, Quaid, using the robots in Delos to try to take over the world.

A police captain that is in charge of a state governor's visit is Quaid's target. John and Pamela must stop Quaid's efforts and must locate the robot among the many police officers protecting the governor.


  • Beyond Westworld produced 5 episodes but only 3 aired before the series was cancelled.
  • The final two episodes became available on DVD on July 29, 2014, over 24 years after the first three aired.
  • The character of Joseph Oppenheimer may be a reference to the actor Alan Oppenheimer who played the unnamed "Chief Supervisor" in the original Westworld.
