Charles Yu is one of the story writers for the HBO series Westworld.

Charles was born in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and Columbia Law School.

His literary works have been published in many magazines and literary journals, including the New Yorker and Oxford American. His works have also received or been nominated for many awards, including the 2004 Sherwood Anderson Fiction Award.
