Clifton Collins Jr. plays Lawrence in the sci-fi western TV series, Westworld.[1]

Collins, Jr. is a Los Angeles actor, producer and director with an extensive TV and movie career extending back to 1990. He has had varied roles in TV shows including Ballers, The Blacklist, CSI and The Shield, and movies such as Capote, Triple 9, Transcendence, Man Down, The Perfect Game and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. He has even had a role as a voice actor in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Collins' family has history when it comes to westerns.[2] His grandfather is Pedro Gonzalez Gonzalez, who was a contract player for John Wayne and appeared in films such as: Rio Bravo and The High and the Mighty

As Lawrence, he wears his grandpa's gunbelt on the show.

I was talking to both J.J. and Jonathan Nolan, and I mentioned that I had my grandfather’s gun belt from Rio Bravo, and they all looked at me. I asked if I’d be able to wear it and they wanted to know what kind of condition it was in, because they had designed a really beautiful belt for me that I was in love with, too. But when they saw my grandfather’s belt, they said, “Oh no, you’re wearing grandpa’s belt.” It’s something magical. It’s sentimental. When I put on grandpa’s gun belt, I feel like I’m badass.
