Situated on the Mainstreet of Sweetwater, it sit's beside the Bakery and Restaurant, just down from H. Sharp General Store, and diagonally across the street from the Mariposa Saloon & Hotel.
About[]
The Coronado (Crowned in English) Hotel and Restaurant is the upmarket place to stay in Sweetwater for visiting guests. Though it is revealed that VIP and regular guests are assigned personal cabins in the woods outside of the town (Journey Into Night), for most guests, including William and Logan in the early years, the Coronado is the place to stay. Not least because the other 'advertised' Hotel...the Mariposa...is of course a brothel, therefore the only 'respectable/family' Hotel in the town of Sweetwater is the Coronado, and is reflected in its well dressed clientele.

On their arrival into Sweetwater William and Logan stay at the the Coronado Hotel, the reception area for which is in the background as they eat in the Restaurant. In the restaurant, William stops Logan from shooting another guest. They're joined by the old man William helped in the street. Logan tries to get rid of him, when he doesn't take the hint Logan stabs him through the hand with his dinner knife, pinning him to the table, shocking William. The other diners don't appear to notice the incident.

The interiors of The Coronado Hotel, both downstairs and upstairs are seen for the first time when Dolores and Teddy use it as their 'spot for the night'. Heading in they pass the reception desk, before heading upstairs to the broad, comfortable looking bedrooms. Where they make love, spending their first night together.
