Dolores Abernathy, now known as Charlotte Hale is a version of Dolores who took on the life of Charlotte after she killed her. New Hale had grown too attached to her new life as Charlotte and after the death of her family took on her own agenda, abandoning Dolores Prime.

Hale, continuing in her role as chair of the Board, appoints one of her new Hosts - a copy of William - as the company CEO and has him execute her plans to replace key human business and political leaders with hosts, thereby enabling Delos to slowly gain control over human society. She also has Clementine hunted down and killed, before printing a new version and dressing her in the proper attire to act as William's Executive Assistant.
While preparing to relaunch "The Golden Age", a former Delos property shuttered due to the host uprising, Charlotte unfreezes the original William, now kept alive only by a cryostasis life support system, and taunts him with her true intentions: now that the hosts have access to all of Delos' assets and connections, they will create a world in which humanity exists only to serve them in the same one they once did.
