The Westworld QA Security Force carry customized FN P90 TRs. It fires 5.7x28mm rounds, and is considered "personal defence weapon".

The weapons are fitted with tactical rails, a mounted flashlight, and painted red. It may be that the red colour is used to distinguish weapons that can kill humans, as well as the hosts.

These weapons are also seen in the hands of both Hector Escaton and Armistice in "The Bicameral Mind".

Maeve Millay uses one in "Journey Into Night".

Trivia

Quite a popular choice of weapon in Films and TV Shows that take place in the Future, Space or some other SciFi-settting. Examples: Battlestar Galactica, the StarGate franchise, The Hunger Games, Doctor Who etc.
These weapons are red when used by QA, which may indicate that they are indeed lethal to humans. The other 21st Century Firearms seen in the show, the Beretta Px4 Storm Compact and Beretta U22 Neos have red barrels. The assault riffles used by the Extraction Team don't seem to have any markings, this may indicate that members are outside Military Contractors - or it may indicate that their weapons will not harm humans.
