"Fidelity" is the sixth episode of the fourth season of Westworld, and the thirty-fourth episode overall.

Plot[]
Thrown Together[]
3 years after Caleb's disappearance, in Los Angeles, a young man, Jay, sitting alone watching children play in a Park is approached by the young Frankie who talks to him about his younger brother Daniel and reveals that she knows he's an outlier. She brings him to meet her mother, Uwade and their technician. But as they start to make to leave the city, everyone around them comes to a frozen halt with the sound of chimes. At Uwade's urging they all freeze, and remain still as two Drone Hosts appear, and begin to walk among the crowd. bending low to examine Frankie, who holds her pose. They pass the group by, but just as they leave a fly lands on the Tech's face, and begins to make its way towards his eye. Making him blink. And as soon as he does, the Hosts turn on him and grab him, before he can make a run for it with Uwade, Frankie and Jay.
Uwade brings Daniel back to an old house on the outskirts of the city and introduces him to the a small group of fellow survivors, most of them teenagers or younger. Frankie excuses herself to her mother, telling her it's almost time to talk to her father, Uwade sending her on her way hopeful for her. Down in the basement, Frankie steps up to a table where the radio she and her father had back where they lived in L.A. is set up, and begins her ritual attempt to contact Caleb. As she does so, Jay overhears her and Frankie cheerfully explains what's she's doing. The little girl tells him she's going to tell her father all about him, and that she always wanted a brother. But he bitterly rejects her, telling her he doesn't want to be her brother, before belittling her for trying to record messages for her father on their old contact frequency, claiming that both he and his younger brother are already dead.
Stomping Ground[]
In the present day, Frankie and Bernard, now with Maeve's body in tow, drive to the only place where she can be properly fixed: the ruins of the Golden Era Park.
Caleb[]
After his re-capture, Caleb wakes again in Olympiad, this time in a small observation cell similiar in shape to to that the host of James Delos was experimented on. Once again finding Charlotte standing next to him. After turning over an hourglass filled with red sand, she begins to interrogate him for answers concerning the outliers, which she believes is the result of humans possessing some unknown attribute that an artificial being like herself cannot understand. Caleb continues to be defiant, so Charlotte threatens to torture Frankie after admitting that she is still alive. However, she also tells Caleb that a host has already been tasked with eliminating her. Caleb begins to weaken, as his host body is designed to deteriorate and shut down after a set period of time. He then realizes, in horror, that other Calebs are also locked up in the rooms next to his.
Frankie and Bernard[]
Bernard, aware that Mobworld is a variation of Westworld, quickly finds the maintenance bay and obtains the needed tools to fix Maeve, as well as an undamaged core to download her mind into. He and Frankie also spar over how much culpability Bernard bears for the creation of the hosts; Bernard maintains that he, along with many other employees, never knew the full extent of what Ford and Delos had planned. While fixing the extensive damage to Maeve's skin and internal systems, he explains that the hosts were given consciousness by means of Delos extensively studying and analyzing the minds of guests, first by using sensors built into the hats provided with their custom clothing and then by installing devices behind bathroom mirrors. As Maeve's mind is transferred to the new core, Bernard warns Frankie that they need to protect her from the other survivors.
Caleb[]
Caleb's previous hosts tip him off that there is a way to escape his room: by faking his own death using a tipped needle concealed in the hourglass, he triggers the automated disposal and is able to sneak out through the burn pit. A drone intercepts him, but Caleb overpowers and destroys it before crawling into the ventilation system. A dying host allows Caleb to use him as a protective buffer so he can safely drop out of the vents and make his way up to the roof. Guided by memories of his daughter and Uwade, Caleb hacks into Delos' communications array and broadcasts a message for Frankie on their old frequency, telling her that he loves her, that he regrets that he couldn't keep his promise to return to her, and that he knows she'll succeed where he failed.
Frankie[]
The other survivors are shocked to discover Maeve and tell Frankie that someone in their group is a spy for Delos. Frankie shoots Bernard and has him and Stubbs restrained for questioning. Bernard states that while there is a traitor in the group, he doesn't know for certain who it is, only that Frankie will be killed if she can't figure it out. Confused and uncertain of how to deal with the situation, Frankie goes back to check on Maeve. Her girlfriend Odina tries to stop her and Frankie locks her in a closet. Jay arrives looking for Maeve's core, insisting that they destroy it before she can be fully restored. Frankie then pulls a gun on him after noticing that he calls her his "sister", something the real Jay would never do. The host Jay taunts Frankie and even destroys her radio when she hears her father's broadcast. Just as he's about to shoot Frankie, Maeve surprises and stabs him to death. The two women converse: Frankie tells Maeve that though she still blames her for what happened to Caleb, she also knows that Maeve would have done everything to keep him alive and that what they did twenty-three years earlier is what brought them to this moment. Maeve, comforted by this knowledge, tells her that it's time to finish what they started.
Charlotte[]
Charlotte asks Clementine for her own experiences dealing with humans. Clementine replies that she always stays clear of the outliers, preferring the predictability of the "sheep". Caleb is located on the roof and Charlotte confronts him with the revelation that he was allowed to escape under the assumption that he would use the opportunity to contact the human resistance and alert them to his location. Having intercepted his message, Charlotte mocks him and asks why he would waste his only chance for freedom to speak to his daughter. Caleb, feeling himself close to death, provokes Charlotte to break his neck by telling her the real reason her fellow hosts have been killing themselves: they despise Charlotte and the false world she's forced them to inhabit with her. Charlotte, feeling self-conscious after realizing that Caleb is right, holds her arm as it bleeds from the strain of killing him. The other remaining Caleb hosts are terminated, the escape route is sealed, and a new body, the 279th, is printed. Charlotte then prepares to interview him.
