Ramin Djawadi (born 1974) is a Grammy and Emmy-nominated German-Iranian composer of music for film and television; he is the composer for Westworld.

His last name is pronounced "Java-dee" and he's of Iranian descent.

The cameo picture is from the Season Two episode, The Riddle of the Sphinx.

Jonathan Nolan said he met Ramin Djawadi when he did additional music in Christopher Nolan's film Batman Begins. He later chose him to compose for his CBS show Person of Interest, and described him as "unbelievably talented". He remarked that sometimes they would intend to use a particular song in the show (e.g. for the end of the final episode), but then Ramin would present them with an original piece of work, and they would choose to use that instead.
