Roland is a Technician in the Livestock Management department of Westworld.

Roland was seen disecting hosts, when Charlotte Hale and Ashley Stubbs brought in Peter Abernathy. Charlotte demanded that Peter needs to be held down, but not have his head damaged in any way. Roland decided to nail Abernathy to a chair, despite Stubbs seeming against it.

Roland was trying to get the data out of Peter Abernathy's brain on Charlotte's behalf. He later stated that the data packages were too large to migrate over. He left to look for an extraction helmet to get the control unit out.

Roland survived the assault on the Mesa, and was gathering data from hosts, when Lee Sizemore rushed in with an injured Maeve Millay into the room.
