The Gunfighter is a minor robot character in the pilot episode of the 1980 series Beyond Westworld. He appears only briefly, during a flashback sequence, where he challenges a park guest. The guest draws and shoots him dead. Fellow robots, male and female alike, start malfunction not long after, arming themselves and shooting at guests.
The character is clearly meant as a homage to the film series' character of The Gunslinger. Possibly meant as a newer or less dangerous model of the same archetype.
