Walter is a host that went off his narrative in very first episode of Westworld. He is portrayed by Timothy Lee DePriest
Season One
The Original
Walter went on a shooting spree, killing hosts that had shot him in past storylines. Being a host, he shouldn't have remembered being harmed from past storylines, due to his re-programming, and it is thought that this glitch was due to a software update. Conspicuously, he left three hosts unharmed, all of which had never harmed him.
The Stray
In episode 3 it is revealed that after his shooting spree, Walter carries on a conversation, seemingly with nobody, in which he exclaims "I need more milk, Arnold!" This adds mystery to the role park co-creator Arnold played in the issues currently exhibited by the hosts.
